I should introduce this video. It shows you how to draw flowers using calligraphy pens that are blendable. They are available from Craft Fairy in a variety of colours. Many samples of cards using this technique can be found on my Craft Fairy Designs Blog.

Ribbon Spool Box Tutorial
Jill and Kelly make custom party favors and decorations, mostly out of paper. They are beginning to add upcycled gifts and home decor items to their shop. Jill loves to Mod Podge everything and often decorate old containers, boxes, tins, etc. Jill also has a degree in interior design and she also upcycles old furniture and sells it locally.
They were kind enough to share a tutorial with us on making the cutest boxes out of your empty ribbon spools. But before you download the tutorial, visit their Etsy Store where you can purchase your own and see all of the great things they make too!
Here's a link to their store where they have so many wonderful items!
Here's where you can download the tutorial:

Easy Paper Flower Tutorial
I had made this card for the design team I'm on and wanted to share a tutorial for the flower I made per your request! Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my other post with the card. It's so easy!
I've seen many of these flowers made using a brad in the middle to hold it together. I wanted to do something different with ribbon so here's what I came up with:
You will need some old dictionary pages or pages from an old book. I use pages from a huge dictionary I bought at a thrift store. It has the thinner, lighter pages than an ordinary book. I like the weight of those pages because they are easier to crimp and crinkle. You also need some ribbon, a stapler and a scallop punch.
Punch out six scallop circles.
Stack your scallops together and lay your ribbon across them in the middle. Staple the ribbon to the scallops.
Tie a knot in the ribbon, the staple holds it in place.
Trim the edges of your ribbon.
Crinkle and fluff up each scallop until it's as fluffy as you like.
Enjoy!

Punched Flower Tutorial
Zulma, My Little Scrappy Owl, has made this easy and beautiful flower tutorial, that I'm sure you'll all going to love ;-)
******************************************
Hi! I'm so happy today because I had a lot of comments about my mini flowers bouquet. I love to work with little things and that is a challenge for me. For this one I used:

Continue gluing the flower around the circle and finish at the top.
Glue 5 leaves to the second circle and make small dots in the center of each flower with gel pen .
Glue flowers to the leave base.
This is the result. Isn't a cutie.
You can see this card here
Well I hope you like my first tutorial, and don't forget to leave your comment. I love to hear from you.

Hi! I'm so happy today because I had a lot of comments about my mini flowers bouquet. I love to work with little things and that is a challenge for me. For this one I used:1. Martha Stewart punches - Hydrengia (25 pcs aprox., small size) and maple leave (5 pcs)
2. Marvy 1" circle punch (2 pcs)
3. stylus or paint brush
4. glue
5. twizzers
6. gel pen or any kind of paint(stickles, markers, chalk, etc.)

Take one circle and make small cuts around it, save the other for final step.

Put circle in a foam base and with your stylus make circular motions to end with a semi-circle and do the same with the mini flowers.
Now, use your favorite glue and twizzers to attach the flower starting with the base or bottom of the semi-circle.

Ideas for Papermania Trellis cards and stamps
Hi
Sarah here from sarahwrightdesigns.blogspot.com.
Some times when we buy aperture cards or mini stamps we sometimes draw a blank as to how to use them. Here is a short video giving you some ideas of what to do with aperture card blanks. In this case I have used the new Trellis cards by Papermania. I have also used the new Hanovarian stamps that are by Papermania also.
I hope you find this useful . I sure it will encourage you to have many creative ideas.
